• Hair/Makeup Artists (HMUA) should read our Rules & Regulations for our contestants concerning hair/makeup regulations and follow those Rules & Regulations.
• HMU artists with more than 3 clients are required to be set up in the hair/makeup book, if space allows.  If there is not enough space in our hair/makeup book and HMU artists have more than 3 clients, they must pay a $500 HMU Artist participation fee to the director and provide the location where they will be providing their services as well as a list of the clients they will be providing those services for.
• If a HMU artist has 3 or more clients and does not report their information according (like you are trying to hide it), you will be asked to leave the pageant and refund all monies paid by your clients.
• When attending a PURE event, HMUA should act professionally. They may not drink alcoholic beverages in public or use illegal substances or inappropriate language in or around our finalists, staff, or in the services and pageant area. Hair/Makeup Artists should dress professionally at all times.
• Gossiping or talking negative about other HMUA, contestants, staff, or Directors will lead to dismissing you from your services and a full refund given back to your clients. All prizes awarded/forthcoming must still be provided and honored. No refunds for booth space will be given.
• PURE is not responsible for clients who do not pay their HMU bill and will not compensate a HMA for clients who do not show up or fail to pay. PURE will not get involved in products/services or payments disputes.
• PURE is not responsible for funds lost due to a change of pageant dates or hotel venue or in the event of a pandemic or Act of God.
• PURE is not responsible for injuries, accidents or illnesses to a HMA, their staff, or their clients at our events.
• HMUA are responsible for any and all expenses related to their services.
• Hair/Makeup Artists are required to have the proper certifications required by the state in which he/she is doing business. It is the HMA's responsibility to research, apply, and receive the correct documents/certifications before conducting business. PURE is not responsible if a HMA is fined for not having the proper accreditations. 
• HMU clients may not use the HMU area for a dressing area for themselves or any clients.
• PURE is not responsible for the promotion of any HMA at any event. If PURE promotes a HMA it is at the director's discretion. However, PURE does reserve the right to promote our Official HMUA.
• HMU Artists will receive one complimentary table and two chairs as well as 1 free admission ticket to scored events in exchange for a sponsorship of at least 10 titleholders.  More tables/chairs can possibly be provided, if space allows, based on the number of HMU Artists working at an event. Sponsorship amounts may vary based on the event. All sponsorship gifts must be presented at the pageant PRIOR to the start of the pageant before HMU services can be started. Prizes may include products but not future gift certificates for services unless they are the Official HMU Sponsor of the event.
• Only 6 spaces will be available at the International Pageant.
• HMUA/businesses may NOT sell products or set up displays in the HMU areas.
• HMU pricing should be close/consistent with our official HMU artists. Remember, undercutting your services ONLY devalues YOUR work. Please check with your director to give a price list for the services being offered.
• If a HMU Artist causes a contestant to break a hair or makeup rule through his/her services, the contestant will receive a deduction on her final score.
• HMU artists must be respectful of a contestant's schedule and the pageants schedule.  We will not delay an event unless it's a medical emergency.
• HMU artists not abiding by the aforementioned regulations will be asked to leave the event and not allowed to return as a HMU artist.

National Pageants may have different HMA fees and sponsorship requirements. Please contact that pageant's director for information and pricing.

All HMU artists should have professional pageant hair and makeup skills to be considered for a booth. The pageant director of each pageant has the final say as to whom is selected to set up at our pageant.
